Informative 3 : Intellectual Property

today i would like to share something that is called as Intellectual Property

at first let us see the definition of Intellectual Property :
unique and original works such as ideas, inventions, literary and artistic works, processes, names and logos.
Refer to the creation of mind used in commerce.

Categories of Intellectual Property :

Patent

~ is an exclusive right granted for an invention
(invention - a product or a process that provides a new way of doing something, or offers a new technical solution to a problem)

Trademark

~ A distinctive sign which identifies certain goods or services
Example : logo, slogan, sign, color, design

Copyright

~ A legal term describing rights given to creators for their literary and artistic works.
Literary works :- novels, poems, plays, reference works, newspaper, films, musical composition, etc
Artistic works :- paintings, drawings, photographs, architecture, advertisement, maps and technical drawing.




Importance of Intellectual Property

1. To protect any original works that created by individual person / company for example, image, drawing, lyrics, publishing and etc
2. Preserve the features and processes that make things works. This let inventors profit inventions

Therefore, after this i hope more people will respect other Intellectual Property.
